MIBR has signed Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe, formerly of INTZ, the team announced Thursday.
The 26-year-old Brazilian was expected to join MIBR after the benching of Marcelo "coldzera" David this summer.
"Today I become part of a great team and probably the most popular one in the entire world, with a long history and with players who probably and literally won everything in CS:GO," kNgV- posted on TwitLonger.
"I am very excited for this new phase in my life and I will give my best to be the difference they needed for better results. We've been practicing already, and in only 10 minutes with them in the server, I already felt that good things are about to come."
kNgV-, who has obtained a U.S. P-1 visa, is expected to make his debut with MIBR at BLAST Pro Series Moscow, which takes place Sept. 13-14.
He had been denied entry into the United States for two years after the government learned he had been playing for Immortals on a tourist visa.
