Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok, after being on loan to JD Gaming earlier this year from Griffin, rejoined the League of Legends Pro League team Thursday.

JD Gaming announced the move on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, posting, "Welcome Back ... Kanavi."

Kanavi became a free agent after an investigation by Riot Games following an allegation that the jungler had been pressured by former Griffin director Cho Gyu-nam into signing a contract with JD Gaming while he was still a minor.

Kanavi was with Griffin and had been on loan to JD Gaming from May to October this year. He was part of a JD Gaming squad that finished 10th in the LPL 2019 summer split and third in the LPL 2019 regional finals.
