Fortnite's latest major collaboration will be with world-renowned rapper Travis Scott.

Dubbed "Travis Scott's Astronomical," the platinum recording artist will perform multiple concerts in Fortnite from April 23 to 25, with the time of each performance specifically optimized for all parts of the world. The shows will not be region locked, however, meaning anyone can watch at any time.

The concerts will take place at the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, April 23, 7 p.m. ET

  • Friday, April 24, 10 a.m. ET

  • Saturday, April 25, 12 a.m. ET, 11 a.m. ET, 6 p.m. ET

Entry will begin 30 minutes prior to showtime, so players can situate themselves at their preferred locations.

Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, has described the collaboration as a "one of a kind musical journey." It will feature the debut of a new track from Scott.

It was also announced that Scott is the newest addition to the Icon Series, meaning that custom outfits, emotes and more will be available starting April 21. Attending any one of the concerts will unlock a Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two loading screens for free. Astronomical challenges, with more to unlock, will also be part of the Icon Series offering.

Scott released the album "Astroworld" in August 2018. It reached Platinum certification three times over as recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

This is the latest in a series of high-profile collaborations in Fortnite. Marshmello performed a 15- minute concert in the game in February 2019, which was attended virtually by 10.7 million people, according to Epic Games. Star Wars and Marvel are just two other examples of big-ticket interactions in the Fortnite metaverse, which range from cinematic events to cosmetic skins (Deadpool is currently a playable skin in the game).

Scott was part of a landmark day in Fortnite's history in March 2018 when he joined Drake, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Ninja in streaming the game together. At the time, it set the concurrent views record on Twitch, peaking at 628,000 viewers.
