Ninjas in Pyjamas completed their VALORANT roster Tuesday, revealing that Charles "CREA" Beauvois, Damien "HyP" Souville and Enzo "Fearoth" Mestari (who will serve as captain) have officially joined the Sweden-based organization. The team had previously signed Emir "rhyme" Muminovic and Niels "luckeRRR" Jasiek on June 25.
"Our ambition has and always will be to field a top-tier lineup," COO Jonas Gundersen said in a blog post on the team's official website. "Our faith in the VALORANT scene and Riot's plans for it remains strong and we'll stop at nothing to get to the top spot. It's become clear that CS:GO experience is a strong predictor of VALORANT performance, and adding the spice of the highest level of Overwatch competition through HyP makes for a really strong foundation. This squad has an extremely high skill ceiling, has already proven itself competitively, and fits very well into our vision for team chemistry and esports performance. I couldn't be happier."

HyP, CREA and Fearoth had previously been competing in VALORANT tournaments under the team name "HypHypHyp," featuring five players from France. The team earned multiple first place finishes, including most recently at "Take The Throne #8," their third straight victory in that tournament series. They defeated another highly touted European unsigned team, FABRIKEN, in the grand final.
This marks a steady increase in top European organizations bolstering the EU VALORANT scene - along with G2, who just captured top prize at the Vitality Open this past weekend, ESPN reported that Team Liquid have also entered professional VALORANT, by signing four fifths of the former fish123 roster, along with highly touted free agent Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom.
