What you should know about UFC 110

1. A heavyweight title shot is on the line between Cain Velasquez and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Nogueira is the only fighter to win the heavyweight title in the UFC and Pride. These two were scheduled to fight at UFC 108, but the fight was pushed back because Nogueira suffered a staph infection.

2. Velasquez, a two-time All-American wrestler at Arizona State, is 7-0 in his MMA career -- with six of those wins coming by TKO. Velasquez is coming off a 58-second TKO win against Ben Rothwell at UFC 104 last October.

3. This is the first UFC event that will take place in Australia and the UFC's second trip to the Southern Hemisphere (the first: "Ultimate Brazil" in 1998). All 16,500 tickets for the event sold out on the first day they were made available to the public, the second-fastest sellout in the history of the UFC (after "UFC 83" in Montreal).

4. Wanderlei Silva makes his middleweight debut versus "The Ultimate Fighter: Season 3" winner Michael Bisping. Silva, who was Pride's 205-pound champion for more than five years, lost his last fight to Rich Franklin at a 195-pound catchweight. He has lost two consecutive bouts and five of his last six fights overall.

5. Australian-born George Sotiropoulos will try to stay unbeaten in the UFC when he takes on Joe Stevenson, while Ryan Bader hopes to stay perfect in his MMA career when he faces Keith Jardine.
