Fantasy basketball picks and betting tips for Monday's NBA slate

The NBA is off Tuesday for Election Day, so all 30 teams will be in action Monday for the busiest night of the season so far.

There are obvious fantasy basketball and betting ramifications for every team in the league. On the fantasy hoops side, there will be a lower demand for streamers because every player on your roster will be playing. If your team is beset by injuries, or perhaps largely underachieving, there are still some quality streaming options.

However, Monday night's slate offers plenty of betting opportunities. With tantalizing matchups, there should be fun to be had this evening. So let's dig into those matchups and find some angles of interest for this busiest Monday of the season.

ESPN's fantasy basketball daily cheat sheet is your pregame destination before you set your lineups for that night's games. Here you'll read our best advice for the night, including a selection of players you can stream as well as game-by-game injury reports and player projections.

Monday's fantasy players to stream into your lineup

Bilal Coulibaly, Washington Wizards (available in 61.7% of ESPN leagues)

Coulibaly is putting up fantasy starter numbers on a nightly basis and should just be rostered -- let alone streamed -- in most league formats. In his last four games, Coulibaly has averaged 22.3 PPG (61.1 FG%, 81.3 FT%), 6.3 RPG, 2.5 3PG, 1.8 APG and 1.3 SPG in 35.0 MPG.

Gradey Dick, Toronto Raptors (51.3% available)

Dick is a go-to scorer for the Raptors in his sophomore season, and his play is justifying his lottery draft status. He has set new career-highs in scoring in three of his last five games, culminating with 31 points on Friday against the Lakers. In those five games, he has averaged 24.6 PPG (49.4 FG%, 90.5 FT%), 3.2 RPG, 2.4 APG, 3.2 3PG and 1.4 SPG in 34.6 MPG.

Tari Eason, Houston Rockets (89.0% available)

Eason had a huge effort against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, scoring 27 points with nine rebounds, four steals and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes off the bench. He got extra run because he was a key member of the bench mob that got the Rockets back into the game after the Warriors were blowing them out, so it's not clear how that might change his minutes moving forward. But Eason scored 15 points with four boards, two assists and a 3-pointer in only 19 minutes the game before, and also has a 13-point, five-rebound, three 3-pointer effort in only 16 minutes earlier this season. He has been efficient with his opportunities and might be playing himself into a bigger role.

Dre's best bets for Monday

Payton Pritchard over 3.5 total 3-pointers made (-120).

Pritchard has been extremely consistent from downtown this season considering his bench role. He has made at least four 3-pointers in five of his last six games, totaling 28 treys in those five games. The Hawks allow the fifth-most points (27.5 PPG) and fourth-most 3-pointers (3.9 3PG) to opposing point guards this season.

Anthony Davis over 26.5 points (-125)

Davis has been on a mission to start the season, averaging 31.8 PPG with at least 29 points scored in five of his six games. New Lakers coach JJ Redick is running the offense through Davis and he keeps putting up huge scoring efforts even while playing through the sore hip that has him listed as probable for Monday's game. His inside-out versatility, quickness and ability to attack both off the dribble and off action from his teammates makes Davis one of the most consistent buckets in the league.

Jordan Poole over 3.5 total 3-pointers made (+120)

This bet at plus-money is surprising. Poole has averaged 4.4 3-pointers made per game this season and has at least four made treys in four of his five games. Poole seems much more settled into his role of lead guard and perimeter offense creator for the Wizards this season than last. On Monday he gets the added motivation of facing his former team.

Norman Powell over 20.5 points (-110)

Powell has not-so-quietly been the primary scoring option for the Clippers this season. He has averaged 26.8 PPG while taking 18.6 FGA per game over his last five games. While James Harden is the main offense-creator, Powell has settled in as the Clippers' main finisher with Kawhi Leonard out. Powell has scored at least 20 points in five straight games and will be relied upon for more heavy lifting as a scorer Monday.

DeMar DeRozan over 22.5 points (-110)

DeRozan has a sacrificed a bit as a distributor since moving to the Kings, but he is making up for that by scoring more in Sacramento than he did with the Bulls last season. DeRozan has averaged 25.3 PPG on the season and scored at least 23 points in five of his last six games. He picked it up even more over the weekend, scoring 27 points Friday and a season-high 33 points on Saturday.

Nikola Jokic over 51.5 total points + assists + rebounds (-110)

This is a really big number, but Jokic is off to such a blazing start that he is sailing over it on an almost nightly basis. Jokic has averaged 32.6 PPG, 12.4 RPG and 9.2 APG (54.2 PAR) during his past five games while going over 51.5 in four of those five games. One of those games was against the Raptors last week, and Jokic gave them 40 points, 10 boards and 4 assists (54 PAR). The Raptors rank among the bottom teams in the league in both points (27.8 PPG allowed, 28th in the NBA) and rebounds (15.9 RPG allowed, 23rd in NBA) allowed to opposing centers this season.
