Fantasy football flex and superflex rankings for Week 16

Welcome to Week 16 of the NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings for 2022. We know many of you now compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ranked ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it. If your league is of the standard flex variety, just ignore the presence of quarterbacks. Regardless, good luck in Week 16 and beyond!

These rankings have been updated for news and to remove players from Thursday's Jaguars-Jets game.

1. Josh Allen, Bills (QB1): Weather will be a factor in Chicago -- and other places -- but no Allen investor should sit him.

2. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (QB2): Still awesome, and with touchdown runs in two of three games.

3. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR1): More than 20 PPR points in three consecutive games.

4. Justin Jefferson, Vikings (WR2): Don't look for Vikings to fall way behind against Giants this week.

5. Justin Fields, Bears (QB3): Ran well against Eagles, but he really could use some receiving help.

6. Derrick Henry, Titans (RB1): Plays the Texans this week. Expect more than 200 rushing yards against a defense he loves to torch.

7. Christian McCaffrey, 49ers (RB2)

8. Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins (QB4): His 18 PPR points in Week 15 were his most since Week 10. Not great, but good enough, and he should throw on Pack.

9. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB5)

10. Geno Smith, Seahawks (QB6): Still completed 70% of passes versus 49ers. Should be able to do that versus Chiefs, even in cold weather.

11. Justin Herbert, Chargers (QB7)

12. Stefon Diggs, Bills (WR3): Production down the past two games, but certainly that's not a harbinger. Bears give up yards.
