Fantasy Need to Know: Liz Cambage returns to face her former team in Las Vegas. The Aces have started the season 6-1, while Los Angeles looks to end a four-game losing streak. Three of the Sparks' past four losses have been by a combined eight points. Los Angeles ranks seventh in the WNBA in PPG (80.7) and have a habit of starting games slowly. They have averaged only 17.5 PPG in the first quarter this season. The Sparks also rank eighth the WNBA in defensive rating (99.6) and might have a difficult time containing Las Vegas, who average a league-best 25 PPG in the first quarter. The Aces lead the league in offensive rating (110.3), rank fourth in RPG (35), fifth in APG (20.6), first in PPG (97.1) and first in BPG (5.1). Las Vegas is also strong on the defense end, ranking fifth in defensive rating (97.6).
Nneka Ogwumike, Brittney Sykes, Jordin Canada, Lexie Brown and Cambage should be included in fantasy lineups. Ogwumike and Cambage have averaged 30-plus fantasy PPG this season and Brown (89% available) projects as a solid streamer, scoring 23 or more fantasy points over the past two games.
The Aces continue to be a fantasy bonanza with A'ja Wilson, Jackie Young, Kelsey Plum, Dearica Hamby and Chelsea Gray as must-start players. Young and Plum have been exceptional this season both scoring 20 or more points in three games. -- Eric Moody
