Harden, Banchero get rating boost in latest NBA 2K25 update

James Harden finally reclaimed 90 OVR in NBA 2K25’s most recent update. 2K Games

NBA 2K25's rating roller coaster continues its ride, as 2K Games has released the latest update to reflect recent developments in the Association.

Having made gains in the previous update, Stephen Curry suffered a small setback in this round and had his OVR reduced by one point, bringing him back down to 95 -- still enough to keep him on the throne as the highest-rated player in the game.

James Harden and Paolo Banchero crossed important milestones, finally boasting an OVR of 90. The Beard continued his recovery from his disappointing 2023-24 run and managed to gain two points. Banchero only needed a single point to reach the magic 90, which he managed to do despite a bunch of teammates suffering reductions.

This update also saw some of the biggest gains of the season so far with the Dallas Mavericks' Brandon Williams adding six points to his tally and jumping from 70 to 76 OVR. Toronto Raptors guard A.J. Lawson made an impressive leap forward as well, netting five points for 76 OVR.
