History was made last weekend and the ESPN RISE FAB 50 boys' basketball final rankings have a new look at the top. That's because No. 1 Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) seized the day winning the inaugural ESPN RISE National High School Invitational in North Bethesda, Md.

Findlay Prep and No. 2 Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) flip-flopped spots in the rankings on the final weekend of the season.

Kudos to Findlay Prep, the national champions; they earned it.

Tournament organizers and basketball fans were treated to a 1 vs. 2 matchup for the title and the No. 1 spot in the ESPN RISE rankings. The three-day tournament had six ranked teams and two regional ones, playing to packed arenas at Georgetown Prep's Hanley Center. Expect the postseason tournament to return to the same venue next year.

Three-point play

Game Ball: Avery Bradley Jr. of No. 1 Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) was the Most Valuable Player of the ESPN RISE National High School Invitational, earning him ESPN RISE player of the week honors. Bradley scored 20 points and had eight rebounds as Findlay defeated No. 2 Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), 74-66, in the final in North Bethesda, Md. Bradley, a McDonald's All-American guard who's headed to Texas, played lockdown perimeter defense in three victories. OHA Coach Steve Smith says Bradley is the best guard his teams have faced.
