Bengal Warriors, champions of season 7, will begin their Pro Kabaddi League season 9 (PKL 9) campaign against Haryana Steelers on October 8 at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru.

The Warriors have retained the services of their ace raider and captain Maninder Singh, while also roping in Indian national team captain Deepak Niwas Hooda for Rs. 43 lakh.

The defence will be led by the likes of Girish Ernak and SurenderNada, who will be ably supported by the all-rounders in Ajinkya Kapre and Ashish Kumar Sangwan.
