The best managers know how to piece together the most effective lineup and properly utilize a bullpen. These factors take on an increased importance during the World Series.
With the Los Angeles Dodgers' victory in the 2025 NLCS, Dave Roberts took home his fifth pennant. After the Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays in a pivotal Game 7 of the World Series, Roberts took home his third World Series title as a manager. With his triumph, he notched his 7th win in a winner-take-all postseason game, the most by a manager in MLB history.
Roberts won his first and second World Series titles as a manager with the Dodgers in 2024 and 2020. He also previously won a World Series as a player with the Boston Red Sox in 2004.
