Spin: Allen has yet to gain clearance to participate in basketball drills due to Achilles soreness, so he'll likely need to make more progress in practice before seeing game action. Thursday's exhibition is Phoenix's last of the preseason, meaning Allen's next chance to suit up will arrive in the regular-season opener Wednesday against the Clippers.
