Brandan Wright has agreed with the Memphis Grizzlies on a three-year contract worth almost $18 million, Yahoo! Sports reported, citing league sources.
He will be signed using the full midlevel exception, according to the report.
The eighth overall pick in the 2007 draft out of North Carolina, Wright had a busy 2014-15 season, with trades to the Boston Celtics and then the Phoenix Suns after starting the season with the Dallas Mavericks.
Overall, he has been traded four times in his first seven seasons.
A 6-foot-9, 205-pounder, Wright never has been a consistent starter in the league, but he has produced solid numbers for a big man in limited time, averaging 7.1 points, 1.0 blocks and 3.7 rebounds in 16.4 minutes for his career.
