Utah Jazz guard Rodney Hood got ejected from Wednesday's win over the Washington Wizards and then ejected a phone from a fan's hand.
After picking up his second technical foul of the game, the Jazz reserve knocked the cellphone out of the hand of a fan sitting courtside at Capital One Arena in Washington. The fan appeared to be taking a photo or video of the 6-foot-8 guard's exit from the court.
Hood had seven points, six rebounds and two assists in just 15 minutes. He got his first technical of the night at halftime and picked up his second one with 2:21 to go in the third quarter.
Interacting with a fan has resulted in $25,000 fines for three players this season: DeMarcus Cousins, Kyrie Irving and Austin Rivers.
Though Hood's actions may prove costly for him, the Jazz went on a 9-0 run following his ejection en route to a 107-104 victory.
