The Detroit Pistons have reached an agreement with free agent guard Jose Calderon, league sources tell ESPN.
The 13-year veteran backup point guard agreed to a one-year, $2.4 million deal on Monday, sources say.
Calderon, 36, is rejoining a team with whom he played the second half of the 2012-13 season, and it reunites him with coach Dwane Casey, who was his coach in Toronto.
Throughout his career, he has played for Toronto, Detroit, Dallas, New York, LAL, Atlanta and he spent last season with Cleveland.
He has career averages of 9.2 points and 5.9 assists, and shoots the 3-point ball at 41 percent.
