The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 149-107 on Tuesday in Jimmy Butler's first match against the team he was traded from on Nov. 12. After the game, center Joel Embiid had some playful comments directed at Minnesota.
It was an honor to be part of the 3rd stringers and get a win against real NBA starters #TheProcess pic.twitter.com/uPw7F0WjLo

The Sixers big man poked fun at Butler's infamous October practice in which he demanded to scrimmage with the bench players against the Minnesota starters. The practice included confrontations between Butler and president of basketball operations and coach Tom Thibodeau (since fired), general manager Scott Layden and teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Butler was traded to Philadelphia three weeks later.
Meanwhile, Butler's postgame Instagram caption was more veiled.
