The NBA playoffs' conference finals have wrapped up and two teams -- the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks -- emerged for the chance to play in the 2024 NBA Finals.
The Celtics swept the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals and will now head back to the NBA Finals for the first time since losing to the Golden State Warriors in 2022.
The Dallas Mavericks -- back in the NBA Finals for the first time since winning it in 2011 -- eliminated the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games to claim the Western Conference finals crown.
Like all the series in the previous three rounds, the NBA Finals will be a best-of-7. The team with the better regular-season record (Boston) will have home court advantage for that series. All series are played in a 2-2-1-1-1 format, with the Boston hosting Games 1, 2, 5 and 7 (if necessary).
