Spin: Hudson has been dealing with a knee injury since preparation for Week 2 began. Although he ultimately suited up last Sunday, he never got on the field and was likely only active in case of emergencies. With the Bengals not playing until Monday against the Commanders, he'll have an extra day to recover for the matchup. Although based on Week 2, even if he is active, there's no guarantee he'll get in the game.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Hudson heads into his fifth pro season, and he flashed some receving ability in 2023 with the Bengals, averaging 6.7 fantasy PPG, with four or more receptions in six of his 12 games played. However, with the addition of veteran tight end Mike Gesicki and rookie Erick All, in an offense that majors in 11 personnel, Hudson doesn't have the fantasy-relevance to warrant a draft pick.
