News: 1 day agoBrown caught eight of 15 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-33 loss to the Commanders.

Spin: The star wideout put together his second straight strong performance, but this time Brown did it with Kenny Pickett (ribs) under center for most of the afternoon -- including for a four-yard TD in the first quarter -- after Jalen Hurts (concussion) left the game early. Pickett also got hurt late in the contest, which means the Eagles could potentially have to turn to 2023 sixth-round pick Tanner McKee at quarterback in Week 17 against the Cowboys. Brown demonstrated he could work with Pickett with no significant issues, but McKee has yet to attempt a pass in the NFL, and he would represent a massive downgrade for the entire Philly offense.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Brown's second season in Philadelphia statistically mirrored his excellent debut, as he was fifth in receiving yards and provided a cool 17 fantasy points per game, eighth among wide receivers. The way Brown statistically achieved his numbers was a bit disturbing for fantasy managers (and the stumbling Eagles), as he dominated over a six-game stretch early on, averaging 138.5 receiving yards and tallying five touchdowns from Weeks 3 through 8, then reaching 100 yards in just one of the final nine contests. Still, QB Jalen Hurts leads an elite offense, and even with WR DeVonta Smith and new RB Saquon Barkley in the mix, Brown will see ample targets and end zone opportunities. Expect another season as a WR1 option and potential first-round choice.
