News: 3 days agoGray gathered in four of five targets for 23 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 30-21 loss against the Bills.

Spin: Gray made the most of his targets in the red zone, collecting a pair of them for his first career multi-touchdown effort. The tight end played only two snaps fewer than Travis Kelce in Sunday's affair. Gray should continue to see regular reps in two-tight end sets and when Kelce needs a breather. That said, Gray's two touchdowns Sunday also marked his first two of the season, so this effort should be viewed as more of an anomaly than a repeatable performance.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Gray is back for his third season with the Chiefs. Travis Kelce's primary backup, Gray has posted almost identical stats each of the last two seasons, posting a 28-299-1 receiving line in 2022 and 28-298-2 line in 2023. Gray obviously is without standalone fantasy value, but he's a name to know should Kelce miss time. Kelce was out in Week 1 last season and, while Gray had a fairly quiet game, he played 87% of the snaps and was targeted five times. Gray should not be drafted, but scoop him up if Kelce is sidelined.
