News: 6 days agoSwift rushed 18 times for 125 yards and a touchdown while bringing in one of two targets for 13 yards in the Bears' 24-15 win over the Eagles on Friday.

Spin: It was a banner day for the Bears' ground attack, as both Swift and Kyle Monangai comfortably exceeded 100 yards. Each back also punched in a score, with Swift's coming from three yards out late in the first quarter and serving as his first trip to the end zone on the ground since Week 8. Swift's rushing yardage total was also a new season high, making it a highly rewarding day against one of his previous squads. Swift saw four fewer carries than his rookie backfield mate Friday, however, but the division of labor could fluctuate week to week down the stretch depending on a number of factors, including who proves to have the hot hand in any given contest.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Swift returns as the lead back in Chicago after a solid first season with the team. He appeared in every regular-season game for the first time in his five-year career, finishing 10th in carries and 14th in targets among RBs. Swift was effective as a pass catcher, but his rushing efficiency wasn't great (career-low 3.8 YPC) behind a shaky line and he struggled to find the end zone (six TDs). Incredibly, Swift has now finished between 15th and 21st among RBs in fantasy points in all five NFL seasons. He'll benefit from the arrival of new coach Ben Johnson and a much-improved line in 2025, so the dual-threat, 26-year-old remains squarely on the fringe-RB2 radar.
