NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota left Sunday's game against the Texans with a hamstring injury.
He did not return for the second half of the Texans' 57-14 victory. He will have an MRI on the hamstring.
Mariota injured his hamstring as he dove for the end zone while outrunning a Texans defender on a 2-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter. He tried to play with it and tested it out after halftime, but the team decided to be safe and go to Matt Cassel.
Cassel entered the game with the Texans leading 37-14 midway through the third quarter. It was the Titans' first offensive possession of the second half.
Mariota went 6-of-10 for 96 yards and rushed for 39 yards and two touchdowns on four carries. On his final possession of the half, Mariota threw an interception to Andre Hal -- his second pass picked off by Hal in the game.
Cassel finished with no touchdowns, two interceptions -- one of which was a Pick 6 -- and a lost fumble, going 4-of-10 for 21 yards.
