ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- After a Josh Allen rushing touchdown was called back earlier in the game due to a face mask penalty, the Buffalo Bills quarterback scored the team's first touchdown of the season on a 7-yard run.

The touchdown brought the Bills within one score -- 17-10 -- with 19 seconds remaining in the half.

Allen faked the handoff to running back Ty Johnson before keeping the ball and running to the right and into the end zone. The score capped off a drive that included three false start penalties on the Bills, but a roughing the passer call on the Cardinals resulted in a big first down for Buffalo.

The drive was the best of the half by far for the Bills after an Allen fumble ended their first drive and the team settled for a field goal on their second one.

Allen has three rushes in the game for 20 yards, in addition to completing five passes for 76 yards.

Later in the the third quarter, Allen's leaping abilities made an early appearance.

With the ball at the 6-yard line, Allen kept it himself and jumped off as safety Budda Baker closed in on him, falling into the end zone for his second rushing touchdown.

The score gave the Bills the team's biggest lead of the game, 31-20, before the Cardinals scored on a kickoff return on the following drive.

Allen's two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns vs. the Cardinals marked his fourth career game with multiple rushing touchdowns and multiple passing touchdowns, tied with Steve Young for the most such games in NFL history.

The touchdown came two plays after rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman made an impressive catch near the sideline for 28 yards.
