Tampa Bay Buccaneers running backs Rachaad White and Bucky Irving are both active for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
White had been listed as questionable because of food poisoning. Irving was questionable because of a hamstring injury and was limited in practice during the week, but he had vowed to play Thursday when speaking to reporters.
The Buccaneers will also get back defensive tackle Vita Vea for Sunday's game. Vea, who has been listed as questionable, did not play in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos after suffering a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his right knee against the Detroit Lions on Sept. 15.
Tampa Bay will be without starting right tackle Luke Goedeke, who did not clear the concussion protocol Saturday and was downgraded to out for Sunday's game. It's the third straight week the Buccaneers will be without Goedeke, who suffered a concussion in Week 1 against the Washington Commanders. Goedeke had practiced all week. He was limited Wednesday, practiced fully Thursday and then was limited Friday. The Buccaneers have surrendered 12 sacks over the past two weeks without him.
For the second week in a row, the Buccaneers called up veteran wide receiver Sterling Shepard from the practice squad, accounting for a Friday hamstring injury sustained by rookie wide receiver Jalen McMillan and an ankle injury to Kameron Johnson. They also elevated punter Trenton Gill because of recent struggles by Jake Camarda.
