It has been quite a couple of weeks for Snoop Dogg in the world of sports.

The entertainment icon, 52, will be with NBC this summer as a "special correspondent" for the Olympics and has been getting into the swing of things ahead of the Games with a busy slate of sports-related outings.

Last Saturday, Snoop popped up in Wisconsin, where he threw out the first pitch ahead of an NL Central division battle between the Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds. But his day at American Family Field didn't stop there.

Due to perform that night in Milwaukee, Snoop got some afternoon mic time before his show -- in the Brewers' broadcast booth. Mixing insight with occasional stints of lyricism, the rapper and producer stuck around the booth until the third inning.

Snoop then made his way to Calgary, where he linked up with WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. Hart memorialized the encounter on social media.

Tracktown USA was Snoop's next stop, with an appearance at the U.S. Olympic squad's track and field trials. He met with athletes and put his speed on display, participating in a 200m dash.

"34.44 for a 52-year-old? Ain't bad," Snoop quipped after he finished his run.

Snoop's tour of the sporting world concluded on Wednesday when he linked up with yet another fighting legend. Gold medalist boxer Oleksandr Usyk, who recently vacated his IBF heavyweight title, posed for a photo with Snoop, where they both sported matching blue-and-gold chains.
