2008 Outlook: State biologist Rob Hossler expects to see good deer hunting conditions this year in Delaware.

"Last year we had the third-highest deer harvest in Delaware history," said Hossler. "This year should be similar to last year, with maybe a 2 percent decrease overall."

In the past, they had a high percentage of female deer harvested to keep the overall population down.

That won't be the case this year, thus the slight decline in overall predicted harvest.
