Wales lock Cory Hill has been ruled out of the remainder of the Six Nations with an ankle injury, the Welsh Rugby Union has confirmed.
The forward scored a crucial try in his side's 21-13 win over England last Saturday, but was injured in the same movement and was replaced a few minutes later.
He will miss Wales' fixtures with Scotland at Murrayfield (Mar. 9) and Ireland in Cardiff (Mar. 16) as they look to secure the Six Nations title and a possible Grand Slam after winning their three opening games.
"For Cory he was outstanding on Saturday, obviously with his try as well. He's a fantastic player for us and a good person around the squad so he's certainly going to be a loss," said Wales coach Neil Jenkins.
"Any loss is someone else's opportunity and we have some fantastic players in that position as well. It'll be quite interesting who plays in the last few games but it's sad for Cory."
The loss of Hill will mean a chance for either Adam Beard or Jake Ball who both started against Italy in Round 2.
There is more positive news over full-back Leigh Halfpenny, who has missed three months with concussion but came through a full game for Scarlets over the weekend.
Fly-half Rhys Patchell, scrum-half Tomos Williams and prop Samson Lee also look set to be available for the trip to Murrayfield.
