AKRON, Ohio -- Cadrick Middletown scored 23 points to lead
four players in double figures and Akron beat Wyoming 96-71
Saturday night for its 13th straight win at home.
Nick Dials and Jeremiah Wood scored 20 apiece for Akron (5-1)
and Quade Milum added 19 points.
While Wyoming (3-3) out shot the Zips 59 percent to 56 percent
from the field, Akron took 15 more shots and had seven more baskets
as the Zips committed just 12 turnovers to 23 for the Cowboys.
Akron also made 10 3-pointers to five for Wyoming and was 20-of-21
from the foul line to 14-of-24 for Wyoming.
Brandon Ewing led Wyoming with 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting.
Ryan Dermody scored 10 points and was the only other player for
Wyoming in double figures.
