Mali reach African Nations final as late goal beats Ivory Coast
Substitute Yves Bissouma scored in the 89th minute to send Mali through to the African Nations Championship final with a 1-0 win over Ivory Coast on Thursday.
Mali had controlled most of the action and missed a penalty in the first half, and they advance to face DR Congo in the final on Sunday.
Ivory Coast came close to scoring in the first half when Essis Aka hit the post, but Mali soon regained control.

Cheikh Ibrahim Comara was adjudged to have handled the ball in the penalty box in the 31st minute, but Mamadou Coulibaly's penalty was stopped by Ivorian keeper Badra Ali Sangare.
Mali finally found the breakthrough in the closing minutes as Sekou Diarra crossed the ball in for Hamidou Sinayoko to flick on into Bissouma's path.
Ivory Coast will face Guinea in the third-place game.
