Kei Kamara's late goal gives Colorado Rapids draw with San Jose Earthquakes
Kei Kamara scored a header off a corner kick in the 81st minute and the Colorado Rapids were able to salvage a 1-1 tie on the road Saturday against the San Jose Earthquakes.
Chris Wondolowski scored from the penalty spot in the 59th minute as the Earthquakes earned their first point since MLS play resumed following the MLS is Back Tournament. It was San Jose's first home game since March 7, just before the season was paused because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wondolowski, who is the MLS' all-time goal-scoring leader, hit the back of the net for the 162nd time in his career. It was his third goal of the season in his first start of 2020 and his seventh game on the season.

San Jose earned the penalty shot after Rapids defender Sam Vines was called for a handball in the penalty area.

San Jose goalkeeper Daniel Vega made six saves, while Rapids goalkeeper William Yarbrough made one save. Colorado extended its winless streak to six games.
The Rapids won their first two games of the season, but since the MLS restart near Orlando they are 0-3-3, including an 0-2-1 mark in the MLS is Back Tournament.
The Earthquakes earned their first regular-season point since defeating the Chicago Fire 2-0 in group play of MLS is Back.
In two regular-season games since the tournament was completed, the Earthquakes were defeated on the road by both the Los Angeles Galaxy and Los Angeles FC by a combined 8-3 count.
The Earthquakes removed forward Danny Hoesen in the 35th minute with an apparent right leg injury. He was replaced by Andres Rios.
