The Orlando Pride and North Carolina Courage played to a 0-0 draw at WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday. Despite several opportunities, neither team was able to find the back of the net.
North Carolina (5-1-7) had an early chance in the fourth minute when Marta's shot from the center of the box was saved by Anna Moorhouse. Orlando (8-5-0) saw multiple attempts as well, including Julie Doyle's shot from outside the box which was saved in the eighth minute.
Despite nine additional minutes added onto regular time due to various stoppages and injuries -- including Denise O'Sullivan requiring attention -- the match ended without either side breaking through.
