Antoine Griezmann put the seal on a comfortable 3-0 win for Atletico Madrid over struggling Girona at Estadi Montilivi.

Griezmann's added-time strike topped off earlier efforts from Koke and Conor Gallagher to hand Diego Simeone's men their fourth straight win in all competitions.

The relegation-threatened visitors kicked off with plenty of hope after grabbing a rare win at Real Sociedad last week.

But that evaporated when Koke put Atleti in front after 13 minutes -- when Girona failed to clear and the veteran midfielder lashed home a delicious strike from outside the box.

Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak was called into action in the 22nd minute when he saved from Axel Witsel as the home side pushed for a swift leveller.

Gallagher doubled the visitors' lead after 38 minutes with a bobbling strike from the left corner of the box which left Girona keeper Paulo Gazzaniga stranded.

The hosts stepped things up in the second half with both Hugo Rincón and Álex Moreno missing the target, without really threatening to stop the away side's momentum.

Griezmann completed the win in fine style in stoppage time when he started and finished a move that saw him steer a shot across Gazzaniga and into the corner of the net from a tight angle.
