Luca Toni, who became the oldest-ever top goal-scorer in Serie A last season, has backed himself to shine again in the new campaign.
Toni, 38, scored 22 goals for Hellas Verona, the same amount as Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi, who is 16 years his junior.
And only two other forwards in Europe -- Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo -- have scored more goals than him in 2015.
Toni's sparkling season saw him put any thoughts of retirement on hold, and he told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I'm only going to quit when I'm scoring just three goals a season and am no longer competitive.
"It's going to be difficult to repeat last season, but I've always scored my goals and I'm ready for this new challenge."
Looking at forwards he expected to do well next season, he mentioned Icardi and added: "[Gonzalo] Higuain I consider to be the best attacker currently playing in Italy.
"He was penalised by Rafael Benitez's squad rotation [at Napoli] last season, so I've got to thank Benitez that I scored more goals than him. If he'd played every game, he would have beaten me.
"Then I would put [Roma's Edin] Dzeko on the podium, ahead of Icardi. But they've all got to watch out for me.
"Dzeko's going to get at least 20 goals. He's strong, quick, runs into space and scores a lot. Roma have got themselves a bargain."
He said new AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca was "a champion" and that Juventus signing Mario Mandzukic "puts the defence under pressure and gets his goals easily."
