"He will arrive in Trabzon on Monday night and undergo a medical on Tuesday before completing his transfer," Hurma said on Monday.
Marin joined Chelsea on a five-year deal from Werder Bremen in 2012, but has only made a handful of appearances during his time at the club, having been shipped out on loan to Sevilla, Fiorentina and Anderlecht in recent seasons.
