So that's what getting a point feels like! Crystal Palace had almost forgotten after five defeats on the spin, but the Eagles stemmed that flow of defeats with a 1-1 draw at Swansea on Saturday.
In hindsight, maybe that was always going to be the score having been the same result the last two times Palace have made the trip to the Liberty Stadium. But Alan Pardew's men won't care, they just needed any sort of result to end their pointless run and they deserved it after digging in on a wet afternoon in South Wales.
Centre-back Scott Dann became the Eagles' joint top-scorer with his fifth goal of the season, which goes some way to highlighting Palace's striker's shortcomings in front of goal. At times they rode their luck in Wales but showed a bit more fight and cohesion after the break and hinted at what could be with Emmanuel Adebayor linking up well with Wilfried Zaha and Marouane Chamakh.
Palace fans left the Liberty relieved the team has put that run behind them and hoping this hard fought draw could prove the turning point for the Red and Blue Army in 2016 after a horrid start to the year.

GK Wayne Hennessey, 7 -- A horrible day for goalkeepers with the rain lashing down, but he did well and held everything. A brilliant save right at the death to deny Sigurdsson from a free kick capped off an encouraging performance for the Wales international.
DF Joel Ward, 7 -- Offered more going forward than he has for some time but coped well defensively too, although wasn't tested as much as Pape Souare at left-back.
DF Scott Dann, 8 -- Scored his fifth goal of the season from a corner and was dominant in the air as usual.
DF Damien Delaney, 7 -- Was in the right place at the right time on more than one occasion to clear danger.
DF Pape Souare, 6 -- Struggled against Wayne Routledge and found most of Swansea's attacks coming down his side, resulting in some panicky defending at times. Looked more relaxed once Routledge was subbed off in the second half.
MF Yohan Cabaye, 7 -- Showed what the team missed in the previous game with some clever use of the ball in tight spaces and well timed tackles. Sent one shot just over the bar after nice build-up in the second half.
MF Mile Jedinak, 7 -- Rarely lost a header in the middle of the park but found Leon Brittan's quick footwork a problem and struggled to keep passes to teammates on target.
MF Jordon Mutch, 7 -- A passenger in the first half but came into his own when moved out to the left in the second half and nearly scored with a powerful run into the box.
MF Wilf Zaha, 8 -- Palace's best player in 2016 and was the Eagles' brightest on the pitch against Swansea again. Linked up well with Adebayor and worked hard defensively too but needs to cut out the tricks on the edge of his own box.
MF Lee Chung-Yong, 6 -- A disappointing performance from a player who has shown promise in the last few weeks. Was hooked at half-time for Marouane Chamakh.
FW Emmanuel Adebayor, 7 -- His first start for Palace and showed why he was signed with a physical presence up front and some nice touches. Should have scored after a nice move involving Zaha.

FW Marouane Chamakh, 7 -- Helped turn the game in Palace's favour in the second half after coming on during the break, linking up well with Adebayor and Cabaye.
MF Hiram Boateng, 7 -- The academy product made his Premier League bow and impressed in the middle with some tough tackles. Very unlucky not to score after drilling the ball just wide of the post.
FW Fraizer Campbell, NR -- A late replacement for Adebayor up front.
