Honduras midfielder Luis Garrido thanked Javier Aquino for the message of support and absolved the Mexico winger of any blame for Garrido's shocking leg injury in Mexico's 2-0 win in their CONCACAF World Cup qualifying match on Tuesday in San Pedro Sula.
Aquino said via Twitter: "I would like to send a message of support to a @luisgarrido_19!! For the accident during the play. Please forgive me! Good luck and much strength!"
Garrido, meanwhile, replied: "@JavierAquino7 Thanks Javier, very kind and you were not to blame at all it was an accident much success and blessings"

Garrido, 25, who had been playing in MLS for Houston Dynamo, is likely to be out for around one year.
Videos of the shocking injury -- in which Garrido's leg cruelly contorts and bends in the opposite direction -- swept social networks and players from both sides immediately called medical staff onto the field.
"Garrido suffered a dislocation [of his right knee] and damaged four ligaments," Honduras' team doctor Oscar Benitez told Diez.
The incident occurred in the 38th minute of the match at Estadio Olimpico, when Mexico winger Aquino lost balance and fell into Garrido on the ground.
