Ligue 2 strugglers Sochaux produced a stunning upset to reach the Coupe de France quarterfinals with a 2-1 victory over Monaco at the Stade Auguste-Bonal.
Hadi Sacko scored the 54th-minute winner after Tiemoue Bakayoko had pulled Monaco level in the 38th minute following Florian Martin's early opener.
The result came against the odds with Sochaux languishing 19th in Ligue 2 and with their fans expressing concerns over the club's direction, while Monaco sit second in the top flight.
Fifth-tier Granville, the lowest side left in the competition, were also celebrating a place in the last eight after pulling off a shock 1-0 win over Ligue 2 Bourg-en-Bresse in extra time.
Tommy Untereiner grabbed the winner in the 98th minute at the Stade Louis-Dior and the side from the CFA2 held on.
Ligue 1 GFC Ajaccio were also given a fright as they had to come from behind to win 2-1 at fourth-tier St Malo US.
Steven Creac'h struck after 33 minutes to give the CFA side a 33rd-minute lead but Ajaccio were spared a giant-killing as Kevin Mayi and Khalid Boutaib replied in the second half.
