Manchester United defender Donald Love says that he has not spoken to manager Louis van Gaal in the past month.
Love, 21, was given his debut on Feb. 13 as a substitute against Sunderland, then played 90 minutes against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League five days later.
Since that embarrassing 2-1 defeat in Denmark though, the full-back has not featured again and has apparently not heard from the manager either.
"He told me, after the Sunderland game, I'd done well and that I was one of the better players," Love told The Scottish Mail. "That gives you a confidence a boost going into the next game.
"But we lost the next game and I've fallen out of it since then. I don't regret anything because I did my best when I was out there. But I wanted to win.
"The manager hasn't spoken to me yet, but I think that's just how he is. I think I see him how you lot see him. It's either his way or no other way.
"That's how I think he's always been by the sounds of it. People have taken their chances, too, so I'm waiting for another chance."
