Everton midfielder Tom Davies has enjoyed a meteoric couple of months, having gone from teenage academy prospect to fully fledged first-team material in the wink of an eye.
Throw in a superb goal on his full debut and the January PFA Fans' Player of the Month award into the mix and you begin to get an idea of the whirlwind the 18-year-old has been caught up in of late.
However, as revealed in a chat with Soccer Am, Davies hasn't lost touch with the real world just yet, admitting that it's hard to get carried away when your mum still drives you to training.

Not that the prodigious youngster is remotely embarrassed by having his mother give him a lift into the Finch Farm car park on a daily basis.
"She brings me in every morning and drops me off," said Davies, with a big grin across his face.
Asked if he was mocked by his Toffees teammates for it, he replied: "Yeah, but I don't see anything wrong with it!"
Good on him, and good on Mrs Davies too.
