Inter Milan have confirmed their first new signing for this summer with Caner Erkin joining the Nerazzurri, while Ever Banega is set to follow soon.
Erkin, who has been capped 46 times by Turkey, arrives from Fenerbahce and has signed a three-year contract with the Milanese club, becoming Roberto Mancini's first new signing of what is expected to be a busy summer on the transfer market for the former Manchester City manager.
"Caner Erkin is Inter's latest signing," a statement on inter.it said. "The Turkish defender, out of contract at Fenerbahce, joins the Nerazzurri club on a three-year contract starting from 1 July 2016."
Only moments after confirming the arrival of Erkin on a free transfer, Inter also announced that they had launched a Turkish-language version of their website.

With Erkin's arrival confirmed, Inter are now expected to confirm the signing of Banega also on a free transfer from Europa League winners Sevilla.
The 27-year-old is reported to have already passed a medical in Milan and signed a three-year contract, prior to linking up with his the Argentina national team for the Copa America Centenario.
His former Seville teammate Ciro Immobile recently confirmed that Banega is joining Inter, saying just a few weeks ago that he is already looking for a home in Inter, and telling La Gazzetta dello Sport that the Serie A club have "got themselves a bargain."
Inter are also reportedly keen on Manchester City's Yaya Toure, although further transfer movements may depend on the outcome of a planned takeover by a group of Chinese investors.
"I hope that the new [investors] give us the strength we need to win things again," Mancini told Mediaset television.
