Transfer Rater: Lacazette and Turan to Arsenal, Eriksen to Barcelona

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest rumours.

Alexandre Lacazette to Arsenal

According to the Sun, Arsene Wenger has met with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas in an attempt to settle a transfer fee for striker Lacazette. The 26-year-old looked set for a move to Atletico Madrid, but the Spanish side's transfer ban has since been upheld. Lyon are said to value Lacazette at £50 million, meaning Arsenal would have to break their transfer record to sign the player.

Christian Eriksen to Barcelona

Barcelona are looking to revamp their squad after a disappointing season that saw them fall short in La Liga and the Champions League, and Eriksen is a potential target. The Tottenham playmaker is, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, third on their list for this particular area of the team, behind Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Verratti and Nice's Jean Seri. However, Eriksen has done nothing to dampen speculation, telling Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet: "I do not think there are many who say no to Barcelona."

Arda Turan to Arsenal

As part of their upcoming squad transformation, Barcelona will allow Turan to leave. A £45.5m bid for the Turkey international from a Chinese club in January was reportedly rejected, though Marca claim a bid of under half that would be enough to convince the Catalan giants to sell. This news comes as a boost for Arsenal, who have been persistently linked to the player.

Nemanja Matic to Juventus

Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci could be on his way to Chelsea, with Matic moving in the other direction. Antonio Conte is keen to reunite with the Italian defender, who he has coached at club and international level in the past. Juventus value the player at £60m, though would accept a lower fee of around £48m if Matic was included in the deal.

Tom Huddlestone to West Brom

As they look to replace the outgoing Darren Fletcher, who recently agreed to join Stoke City, West Brom are considering a move for Huddlestone. The Hull City midfielder reportedly has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave for £2m following the club's relegation to the Championship.
