John Terry to Aston Villa
A transfer target for both Aston Villa and Birmingham City, Terry looks set to choose the former. According to the Daily Express, the ex-England captain has been offered a £60,000 per week contract as well as a £2million bonus if the club win promotion to the Premier League. The Chelsea icon is leaving the English champions once his contract comes to an end and is prepared to drop down into the Championship.
Joe Gomez to Brighton
Two years ago, Gomez was touted as one of the finest prospects in English football after several impressive displays for Liverpool. However, after injury problems stalled his progress, he looks set to move out on loan in a bid to return to form. Brighton are interested in the versatile defender, who can play at centre-back or full-back, although Liverpool want to assess the player before allowing him to leave.
Adrien Silva to Tottenham
Sporting Lisbon captain Silva could be on his way to Tottenham as Mauricio Pochettino looks to bolster his central midfield. The 28-year-old would reportedly be allowed to leave should an offer of £26m come in. Spurs already possess a talented midfield featuring Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama, but want extra options as they prepare to compete domestically as well as in the Champions League.
David Ospina to Nantes
Former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri, now at Nantes, is targeting a Premier League shot-stopper to boost his defensive. Arsenal goalkeeper Ospina has reportedly grown tired of playing second fiddle to Petr Cech and according to France Football, could join the Italian manager this summer after a move to Fenerbahce broke down.
Marten de Roon to Manchester United
De Roon impressed despite Middlesbrough's relegation from the Premier League last season, leading to surprise interest from Manchester United. The Dutchman's tough tackling, work ethic and combativeness are wanted at Old Trafford, and according to the Daily Mail he may be able to move on if Middlesbrough recoup the £12m paid to sign him from Serie A side Atalanta last summer.
