Bafetimbi Gomis has left Swansea to join Marseille on a season-long loan, both clubs have confirmed.
Gomis, 30, moved to Swansea on a free transfer from Lyon in 2014 after scoring 56 goals in 120 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit.
But he returns to France with the nine-time Ligue 1 champions having only managed 17 goals in 71 appearances.
Marseille said on their official website that Gomis arrives at the club to replace Michy Batshuayi who joined Chelsea this summer, while Swansea added on theirs: "Everyone at Swansea City would like to wish Bafe good luck for the rest of the season."
