Livorno forward Andrea Favilli is happy to be linked with Real Madrid, his agent has revealed.
Favilli, 19, spent the 2015-16 season on loan from Livorno at Juventus, and reports in Italy have claimed that Juve have not taken up a €1.7 million option for a permanent deal, and the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit are poised to step in.
Favilli's representative Vincenzo Rispoli told Tuttomercatoweb, picked up by AS, that there was nothing concrete at the moment, but speculation about Madrid's interest had been welcome.
"There is interest to stay in Italy, now he is just thinking about training with Livorno," Rispoli said. "Obviously the rumours linked to Real Madrid are very good. Even some Spanish journalists rang me to ask what was happening with Los Blancos, and we are happy about this."
Should Madrid make their move, Favilli would likely join up with Madrid's Castilla youth team who play in Spain's third tier, and be paired in attack with Paraguayan teenager Sergio Diaz, who was signed earlier this summer for €5.5m.
Favilli scored 20 goals in 33 games for Juve's youth team last season, and made one substitute appearance in Serie A. His one goal in the UEFA Youth League came against Manchester City in a 4-1 group stage victory.
