Brazilian defender Dodo has rejoined Sampdoria on a two-year loan from fellow Serie A side Inter Milan.
The 24-year-old left-back spent the second half of last season at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, making 17 appearances.
A statement on Sampdoria's official website read: "Sampdoria are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached for the transfer of Dodo. The Brazilian joins on a two-year loan deal which includes a compulsory purchase agreement."
Dodo, who began his career in his homeland with Corinthians, moved to Italian side Roma in the summer of 2012 before joining Inter on a permanent basis last November following a loan spell at the San Siro.
