Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Francis Coquelin to Valencia
Coquelin looks set to exit Arsenal this month with Spanish outlet Cadena Ser reporting a move to Valencia has reached "advanced negotiations". Coquelin had previously been subject of interest from West Ham. The 26-year-old's only Premier League start this season came when he was given the nod away at Manchester City in an unfamiliar centre-back role. With Jack Wilshere's re-emergence, Coquelin has found himself way down the pecking order and was left out of the Gunners' 18-man squad for the humiliating FA Cup loss at Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Ryan Kent to Bristol City
Recalled from Freiburg by parent club Liverpool, Kent doesn't look likely to remain at Anfield with Bristol City leading the chase for his signature on loan, according to the Daily Mail. Former side Barnsley and high-fliers Sheffield United are also in the hunt. The 21-year-old was loaned to Bundesliga club Freiburg at the start of the campaign but made just one start for Christian Streich's side, coming off the bench five further times.
Alfie Mawson to Watford
Having conceded the second-most goals in the Premier League this season, Marco Silva is desperate to strengthen his backline and according to Sky Sports, Swansea City defender Mawson is a target. The 23-year-old former England Under-21 cap has been hugely impressive since being brought into the Swans' first team in a year ago and has shone despite his club's struggles in the Premier league.
Joe Hart to Newcastle United
He might have made his first appearance since Dec.19 as West Ham were held to a goalless draw at League One side Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup on Saturday, but out-of-favour Hammers keeper Hart could be on the move this month. The 30-year-old has lost his place at the London Stadium to understudy Adrian following a string of unconvincing displays. And Hart, who will have concerns over his place as England's first-choice keeper ahead of the World Cup, could be offered a lifeline by Newcastle United, according to the Daily Mail.
Ryan Fredericks to Swansea City
New Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal is keen to dip into the Championship to sign Fulham right-back Fredericks in an attempt to steer his side away out of the Premier League relegation zone. The Portuguese coach knows the 25-year-old full-back well having faced the Cottagers while he was manager of Sheffield Wednesday. Fredericks, who began his career at Tottenham, was linked with Watford last summer but a move to Vicarage Road did not materialise.
