Marseille racked up a routine 2-0 win over Strasbourg in the Ligue 1 on Tuesday night with Dimitri Payet rounding out the scoring in the last few minutes.
Indeed, Payet's goal was notable for the fact that the former West Ham star quite literally left Strasbourg goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja with injured ankles after foxing him with a truly outrageous body swerve.
Sent clean through on goal, Payet darted past the advancing Oukidja with a feint so devastating that the 29-year-old goalkeeper had to be stretchered off the pitch in the aftermath.
Simply outrageous from #OM's Dimitri Payet in #OMRCSA... 😱 pic.twitter.com/DIUQHoupw4

Strasbourg later confirmed that Oukidja suffered an "internal lateral ligament" injury and was therefore unable to see out the remaining few minutes of the match. Ouch.
Payet really should start thinking about the painful consequences of his audacious footwork before he goes and injures some other poor, unsuspecting goalie.
