Cork City mustered a 3-1 away victory over St. Patrick's on Friday night to keep themselves within two points of the top of the League of Ireland Premier Division.
With their guests already 2-1 up and injury time dwindling away, St. Patrick's sent goalkeeper Tyson Farago up for a corner in desperate search of a late, late equaliser.
Unfortunately, the set piece came to nothing -- well, nothing other than an 80-yard mega goal for Cork winger Kieran Sadlier.
Outrageous strike, but the best part is the gradual audible realisation from the travelling Cork fans that Sadlier's mighty clearance was actually on target.and going in.
As such, the men from Turners Cross are now breathing down the necks of Dundalk at the top of the league and with a game in hand to boot.
