Jin gave a sample in training before Shandong's 3-1 loss at FC Seoul in the quarterfinals in August.

Details of the case will be published at a later date, the AFC said in a statement.
It was unclear if the 24-year-old Jin's case involved eating contaminated meat. Doping cases involving clenbuterol in China are often linked to the anabolic agent being used in livestock farming.
